Screen Time - The Educational Side

.. Sound familiar?
Technology today is part of our kids world, we can't really get away from it for good. Truth is, they were born in a technological era which shows no signs of slowing down. We know that a lot of parents try to avoid letting their children use laptops, tablets and phones due to a fear of the world wide web, where a simple miss click could dive them into a world they are not yet read to see.
Although too much screen time is not good, I think everyone gets the “I’m bored” complaint at least 3 times a day in different ways. Always when you just need an hour to decompress, start supper or read a book. It is at times like this when you can whip out the tablet and let the kids play quietly whilst you have your time and crack on.
We have found just the thing for you! This fantastic little site to keep the kids entertained and learning at the same time, not to mention it’s completely free!
PBS Kids (https://pbskids.org/) is such a great site as it explores everything from colours and shapes to words and animals. It is super interactive and easy to use, even for the small mischief makers.
